DUBAI // Dubai Courts’ Amicable Settlement section solved a business dispute involving Dh25.6 million.

The case was registered by three parties but investigations discovered that eight more were involved in the dispute, some of which were companies outside the UAE.

To encourage all parties to reach a settlement, the court refunded half of the registration fees, which mounted to Dh108,564.

Within a few days the court and the parties met and reached a settlement which included dropping charges in a case filed by one of them at the prosecution as well as a report at Dubai police.
