Du will sponsor the Dubai Football Challenge, featuring AC Milan and Real Madrid, at Dubai’s Sevens stadium on December 30.
The telecommunications company is also offering the winners of a social media contest related to the event a chance to meet the football stars. The competition asks participants to share a photo of themselves posing with AC Milan or Real Madrid collectibles using the hashtag #MeetYourHeroes and tagging @dutweets.
Winners will get VIP tickets and a meet-and-greet with the players. The contest ends on December 28 and the winner will be announced on du’s social media accounts.
More than 40,000 fans are expected to attend, with more than a million expected to watch the match on television.
