DUBAI // Two men were sentenced to three months each this morning for stealing sunglasses and a digital camera from travellers.
The two Nepalese men, HP, 29, and PP, 31, both porters at Dubai International Airport, were also fined Dh1,000 each.
On March 11 this year, PP was caught stealing a Sony digital camera from a traveller's bag while loading luggage onto an airplane heading to India, records show.
Prosectors said that on April 4, HP stole sunglasses from a traveller's bag under the same circumstances, but was spotted by a police officer as he left the area and questioned.
