DUBAI // Four labourers who robbed a metalworker at knifepoint will spend a year in jail, a court ruled this morning.

The Dubai Criminal Court of First Instance was told that the men, all Bangladeshis, attacked the metalworker about 10pm on April 4 while he was walking near Al Habtour Contracting labour camps.

SM, 31; MH, 27; AM, 29; and RM, 27, had denied the charges.

ME, 33, testified that four men attacked him. Two restrained him and put two knives to his body while the others robbed him.
