FNC members are calling for the price of petrol to be reduced.
A temporary committee set up to consider the issue has said in a report that the Government needed to provide support to bring petrol prices in line with prices in other GCC countries - either through support to Emiratis or by reducing prices.
They noted that petrol in the UAE is the third-most expensive the Arab world, after Syria and Tunisia.
The report will be discussed in the next session.
