Qatar and UAE have emerged as the most expensive places to live among the six GCC countries.

According to the Numbeo’s new global survey, that has measured the cost of living in 119 countries across the globe, Oman is the cheapest place in the region to live.

Numbeo claims to be the largest database of user contributed data about cities and countries worldwide. Its database index determined the difference in living costs between countries taking into account the price of groceries, rent, transportation, restaurants and utilities.
