Looking through choices for this week, I was stopped dead by this image, taken during construction of a store in Dubai, for an unusual reason. It seems to wilfully deny the viewer's eye a point to lock on to; nothing is complete in this image, from the worker disappearing into the ceiling to the half-seen Sri Lankan flag in the background. Staff photographer Delores Johnson has added to this sense of jumble with the nice touch of the out-of-focus reflection on the right side of the frame.
