While covering Africa Day celebrations at Paris-Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi last month, staff photographer Delores Johnson captured many interesting moments, including this presentation of a Moroccan wedding.
Careful composition creates layers for a sense of depth, but also repeatedly draws the viewer’s eye to the bride’s face, thanks to where the surrounding ladies are looking, as well as the “arrows” pointing down from her amariya chair.
