Al Sharq Hospital in Fujairah opened the largest specialised mother and childcare centre in the UAE’s east coast region on Tuesday.
Equipped with the latest in state of the art medical equipment, the centre will provide round the clock medical care.
It is staffed by consultants and specialist doctors who can deal with childbirth, pregnancy related emergencies and other general services.
“The opening of the mother and the childcare centre is part of our unwavering commitment and persistent pursuit to provide high-quality medical services,” said Dr Abdul Hamid Sinan, general manager of Al Sharq Hospital.
“The centre is launched at a time when the number of childbirths is rising. It’s supplied with the latest advanced medical technology, equipment and well-qualified and trained medical staff, including doctors and nurses to provide comprehensive health care for pregnant women.
“The centre ensures complete privacy and total comfort for pregnant women and their loved family members,” he said.
