ABU DHABI // A man has been referred to the State Security division of the Federal Supreme Court for communicating with a foreign country.
The defendant, M K S, who is from Syria, is said to be an electronics trader who has foreign relations due to his job.
Further information was not disclosed in court.
Lawyer Ali Al Mannaei, who is representing the defendant requested the court for more time to look into the case.
The defendant also requested a copy of the case files and to be able to meet his lawyer.
Judge Falah Al Hajeri agreed to the requests and adjourned the case to March 2.
