The public can email, call and tweet for fasting advice this Ramadan, thanks to two campaigns launched by Abu Dhabi Health Services (Seha).
"My Medication During Ramadan" has advice for diabetics and pregnant and breast-feeding women, along with people who have heart disease, high blood pressure, asthma and epilepsy.
The Twitter account @dawaii_seha will give regular updates.
Children can learn about healthy fasting from the cartoon character "Saeed", the star of the "A Healthy Ramadan" campaign, who will appear in print and on radio and television.
