Britain’s Royal Philharmonic Orchestra to make UAE debut

Britain’s famed Royal Philharmonic Orchestra to make UAE debut next month and perform along with Moscow Virtuosi Chamber Orchestra at the Dubai Classics.

The classical music festival will return to Dubai World Trade Centre from February 19 to 20.

The event, held under the patronage of Shaikh Hamdan bin Mohammad bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, will host Britain’s orchestra for the first time in the UAE on February 19.

Ian Maclay, Managing Director of the Royal Philharmonic, said, “It’s a real pleasure being invited to perform in Dubai, one of the world’s most innovative cities. The orchestra has performed on many world stages and I’m sure this experience will be one of the most memorable.”
