The Western Region Police Directorate has arrested four Asians accused of stealing thousands of dirhams by robbing baqalas in Ruwais, Liwa and Ghayathi.

The Western Region Police Directorate has arrested four Asians accused of stealing thousands of dirhams by robbing baqalas in Ruwais, Liwa and Ghayathi.

The gang members reportedly assaulted grocery clerks, threatened them with a knife, and bound them with plastic cords.

Brig Gen Ojeil Al Jenaibi, head of the directorate, said that earlier this year police received successive reports of robberies.
