Adnoc station to close for upgrades

An Adnoc service station in the Abu Dhabi embassy area will temporarily close from Monday to be fitted with smart services.

ABU DHABI // An Adnoc service station in the Abu Dhabi embassy area will temporarily close from Monday to be fitted with smart services.

The petrol station, located on Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed (18th Street) near the American International School of Abu Dhabi, will remain shut for six weeks while upgrade works are carried out, said Adnoc Distribution.

The station’s upgrades are part of the company’s move to upgrade all facilities, said Khalid Hadi, the company’s vice president of marketing and communications.

“This process allows us to guarantee the safety and security of the motorists and the community as a whole, while ensuring a smooth transition of all our service stations to smart service stations,” he said.

Customers will continue to have access to the station convenience store and fast-food outlets during the construction period.
