Organisers of the Abu Dhabi Film Festival are celebrating after several ADFF-curated films made the nomination lists of various international film awards, including next week’s Oscars.
ADFF’s film selections have proven to be a popular choice among awards committees, with 11 films screened at previous editions of the festival receiving recognition at the Academy Awards, the Golden Globes, Bafta Awards, and the European Film Awards.
Films screened during ADFF and nominated for next week's 87th Academy Awards include Ida, Leviathan, and best picture nominee, Whiplash.
