ABU DHABI // Abu Dhabi Municipality has started decorating the capital and its suburbs with thousands of flags and lighting in anticipation of the 45th anniversary of the founding of the UAE.
More than 30,000 flags and more than 7,500 geometric shapes lights heralding the number 45, the number of the years since the founding of the nation, will be installed.
These National Day decorative works are intended to reinforce national values, evoke the sense of belonging and loyalty to the wise leadership, and to promote the values of unification, the municipality said.
For public safety and security, high-quality electric cables will be used in all decoration works, and materials will be weather resistant.
