The Haj mission has distributed 30,000 meals in honour of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan in Al Madinah Al Munawarah, Saudi Arabia, said Dr Mohammad Mattar Al Kaabi, chairman of the General Authority for Islamic Affairs and Endowments and head of the UAE Haj mission.
The distribution was made under the directive of President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed, state news agency WAM reported on Thursday.
In total 250,000 meals are being distributed to pilgrims in co-operation with the Saudi authorities.
