ABU DHABI // More than 30 accident blackspots have been identified by the Department of Transport.
An unusually high number of accidents at the sites have been blamed on badly designed roads following an inspection programme the department undertook in cooperation with police.
The department said "suitable engineering measures" were being taken to increase safety at the sites.
A database of accident blackspots is being compiled by the department.
