The native New Zealander took charge of the polo club six years ago
The club owns 70 horses, serving the riding school and polo academy, beside about 250 members' horses
Ms Matthews's role includes teaching riding skills to aspiring polo students to examining forecasts and preparing budgets
The club has three bars and restaurants that host public customers, weddings and events, while members have access to two pools, a gym and classes, including karate
Ms Matthews also hosts meetings to improve sustainability at the club, while seeking to reduce costs
Ms Matthews has been discussing with her team polo field pop-up sprinklers that trim usage, as well as food waste recycling
On-site meetings about a large festive event include logistics, such as transport, parking and security
Up to 10 events happen weekly at the club, from children's birthdays to polo field dinners
After HR updates, Ms Matthews meets members and watches coaching sessions or operations in areas such as livery stables
