Canicross is cross country running with your dog, which is usually attached to the runner's waist by a bungee cord.

The 6km race in Hatta was the first such event to be held in the UAE.

Six legs are better than two for this team.

The race was a sell-out success.

There were prizes for the first three finishers, but many dogs and their owners were there just for the fun of it.
