Rain is forecast for the UAE today, especially over eastern and southern areas, with lower temperatures as autumn conditions kick in.

Conditions at sea will be moderate becoming rough in the Arabian Gulf, and rough to very rough in the Sea of Oman.
UAE authorities are at maximum readiness after Cyclone Shaheen made landfall in Oman on Sunday and was due to move over the Emirates on Monday.
Forecasters expected the cyclone to weaken by Monday evening.
