How Abu Dhabi rescued Hajj pilgrims abandoned in the desert in the 1950s
In the late 1950s, a group of pilgrims travelled thousands of kilometres by land and sea, trying to make it to Makkah to perform Hajj. They were left stranded in the desert but were eventually rescued by Abu Dhabi.
