ABU DHABI // The UAE’s Human Appeal International has donated 73 touch-screen computers to Grade 10 pupils of the Arab Institute for Orphans in Jerusalem.
The initiative is part of a project called Netketabi (my netbook in Arabic), which works by making e-learning and interactive content available to children who have different learning styles and abilities.
The curriculum is approved by the Palestinian ministry of education and higher education.
Users can browse a vast range of different learning resources - from virtual textbooks and animations to full courses with online resource provider Khan Academy.
