A new Five Hotel is set to open in the UAE.

Five Beach, which was formerly under construction as the Corinthia in Dubai's Jumeirah Beach Residence, has been acquired by Five and subsequently rebranded.

It is expected to open in 2023, comprising 227 suites, 102 serviced residences, seven culinary and nightlife venues, a spa, a social swimming pool and stretch of private beach.

Thanks to its JBR location, the property will overlook the Arabian Sea and boast views of Ain Dubai.

It will be the Five portfolio's third hotel in the emirate, alongside Five Palm Jumeirah and Five Jumeirah Village, and fourth hotel in total when Five Zurich opens its doors in 2022.

"This exciting new acquisition will cater to our overwhelming demand from millennials and Gen Z as we plan to up the ante with Five Beach as the most exciting must-visit destination in Dubai," says Kabir Mulchandani, Five Holdings chairman.

More details about the hotel's offerings are expected to be announced closer to its opening date.

Five Zurich

The Five brand's first international hotel is set to open in Switzerland next year.

The brand says of the project: "This newly revamped lifestyle hotel and Swiss hot spot that has previously been visited by the likes of Rihanna, Freddy Mercury, Grace Jones and Muhammad Ali as regular guests, overlooks the city centre from Zurich’s stunning Uetliberg plateau and will seamlessly unite the very best of Swiss hospitality with Five's characteristic flair for an exceptionally indulgent experience for guests from the city, and international visitors alike."
