Sunniva has been a correspondent in Brussels for The National since September 2022. She started working for The National in Beirut in 2019 and previously freelanced for Le Figaro, BBC, Deutsche Welle and Middle East Eye. She came to Lebanon in 2016 to work for local newspaper L’Orient-Le Jour after a Master's in Arabic and journalism at Sciences Po Paris.
