Mona is the Arab Affairs editor at the National and is based in Abu Dhabi, having joined in October 2020. She has more than 12 years of experience in Arab affairs. Her most recent position was as adjunct assistant professor at Zayed University, UAE. Before that, she worked in several foreign and governmental entities in the UAE. Her experience includes research analysis, translation and working as a political adviser in Middle East affairs.
