White happy for someone to get their chance for Victoria

The Australian all-rounder will play for Bangalore - to whom he is contracted - instead of Victoria, his home team, at the Champions League Twenty20 tournament next month.

Cameron White is disappointed about having to play for Bangalore - to whom he is contracted - instead of Victoria, his home team, at the Champions League Twenty20 tournament next month. But the Australia all-rounder said: "It's important to note that now someone else in the squad gets a chance."

Meanwhile Martin Crowe, the former New Zealand captain, would like the International Cricket Council to scrap 50-over cricket. "Settle on Twenty20, just see out the life of 50-over cricket and therefore give Test cricket the chance to stand on its own as one strong pillar alongside Twenty20," he told Cricinfo.
