The Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship trophy was claimed today not by Phil Mickelson, nor Rory McIlroy, but Pablo Larrazabal, who surprised everyone today by surging ahead of them both with a 5-under 67 final round to finish 14-under with a 274 tournament total, edging the pair of global stars each by a single stroke.
