Al Ahli has won the 33rd GCC Clubs Handball Championship after a narrow victory over their Bahrain namesakes. The Dubai side took victory in a close final in Manama last night, after beating the host nation's Al Ahli 32-30. Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, first deputy chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports of Bahrain, has congratulated Al Ahli after their winning performance The UAE team had finished top of a group which included Al Kuwait Club from Kuwait, Qatar's Al Rayyan, Al Shabab of Bahrain, and Qatar's Al Sadd.
