Henrik Stenson makes the cover of The National Sport on Thursday, November 17, 2016 as the DP World Tour Championship kicks off Thursday at the Jumeirah Golf Estates' Earth Course in Dubai.
The Swede is one of four golfers – along with Rory McIlroy, Danny Willett and Alex Noren – in with a chance of claiming the European Tour's season-ending Race to Dubai Order of Merit title, enjoying a considerable lead over his rivals.
Stenson has enjoyed arguably the most productive season of his career, most notably capturing his first major championship, the British Open, in sublime fashion at Troon in July.
But last year the world No 4 a rare blip around the Earth Course, although he made light of that on Wednesday.
