DUBAI // Novak Djokovic is through to the semi-finals of the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships after his quarter-final opponent, Russia’s Mikhail Youzhny, withdrew due to illness.
Djokovic was scheduled to meet Youzhny at 7pm in the evening, but now Jo-Wilfried Tsonga and Tomas Berdych will clash on the centre court in the first evening game.
Roger Federer will meet Lukas Rosol in the second match of the night, with the winner playing Djokovic in the semis.
