CHICAGO // Jason Taylor has been unveiled by the Washington Redskins following his move from the Miami Dolphins and immediately announced his intentions to play on for two more years.
Taylor, 33, had said he would only play for one more season, but has now changed his mind.
"I'm on board, I'm going to play out my contract," he said.
"I'll be here for more than one year with the team, unless something bad happens.
"I'm here to play ball, and play ball as long as I can."
Washington shipped their second-round pick in 2009 and sixth-round selection in 2010 for Taylor, who played his entire career with Miami after he was selected in the third round out of Akron in 1997.
Meanwhile, the Philadelphia Eagles signed the last of their 10 draft picks, agreeing to terms with the defensive tackle Trevor Laws on a four-year contract.
Laws was one of the team's two second-round draft picks. Wide receiver DeSean Jackson, was the other second-round selection, who signed a four-year deal with the Eagles on Sunday.
A 6ft 1in, 304-pounder out of Notre Dame, Laws registered a career-high 112 tackles and four sacks last year.
He had 224 tackles and 10 sacks in 49 games, including 10 starts. He had 22.5 tackles for losses and blocked six kicks in his career.
