Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho didn’t hold back his disgust following the result, using words like “ashamed” and “unacceptable” and “disgrace” to articulate his disappointment in a side that, even without the likes of Diego Costa and Branislav Ivanovic and only cameo subs from Eden Hazard and Cesc Fabregas, should still have had little trouble at home with League One’s Bradford City.
"I repeat the word that I used yesterday in case we lost – it's a disgrace. A sporting disgrace, but it's a disgrace," said Mourinho.
“I know in the history of this competition it happens to every team now and again.
“For me it’s the first time and I think it’s unacceptable to lose against a team from a lower league.”
