Serena Williams battles onto The National Sport front page on Saturday, July 4 after receiving a major scare from British hope Heather Watson in the third round of Wimbledon.
After breezing through the first set 6-2, Williams was forced into a decider after Watson levelled, and even fell behind two breaks and 0-3.
World No1 Williams battled back to take the third set 7-5 and set up a clash with sister Venus in the fourth round.
