LANDOVER // The Washington quarterbacks Jason Campbell and Todd Collins combined to go 15-for-21 in the first half of the Redskins' 17-14 win over the Buffalo Bills in pre-season action. With Campbell and Collins in the game, the Redskins scored on two long drives - one of 12 plays and another of eight. Last Sunday, the Redskins (2-0) beat the Indianapolis Colts in the Hall of Fame Game with Campbell and Collins completing 10-of-11 passes.

Rookie Colt Brennan, a sixth-round draft choice who threw two late touchdowns in the win over Indianapolis, completed four-of-eight passes. The Bills (0-1) played their first-team offense and their revamped defence for just under a quarter. Linebacker Kawika Mitchell, who played for the Super Bowl champions New York Giants in 2007, and defensive tackle Marcus Stroud, obtained in a trade with Jacksonville, did not have a tackle.
