The Pro League Committee has announced it has rescheduled the three postponed Arabian Gulf Cup Round 2 matches, which were due to be played on Saturday, and will now take place on Monday night.
The PLC had originally postponed the matches after the Government announced a three-day mourning period for 45 UAE servicemen killed in Yemen on Friday.
With that period due to end on Tuesday, the PLC announced that the latest round of matches will resume.
In a statement, the PLC confirmed the previously scheduled kick-off times will remain unchanged, with Emirates v Al Dhafra and Dibba v Al Wahda both set for 5.40pm, and Al Shaab v Al Ahli kicking off at 8.30pm.
The full statement read: “The Pro League Committee has rescheduled the 3 postponed Arabian Gulf Cup round 2 matches, which were due to be played on Saturday 5th September, and will now take place tomorrow — Monday 7th September.
“The previously scheduled kick-off times will remain unchanged, with Emirates v Al Dhafra and Dibba v Al Wahda both set for 17:40, and Al Shaab v Al Ahli kicking off at 20:30.”
In Friday’s games, Fujairah beat Sharjah 3-1, Al Shabab won 2-1 away to Al Ain and Al Nasr played out a goalless draw at home against Al Wasl.
