Stanley Cup Finals Pittsburgh Penguins lead San Jose Sharks 2-0 in the series to decide the NHL champions with Game 3 in San Jose on Saturday night, Game 4 on Monday, and if needed Game 5 on Thursday, Game 6 on June 12 and Game 7 on June 15.
NBA Finals Defending champions Golden State Warriors won the opening game against Cleveland Cavaliers on Friday in the best-of-seven series. Game 2 of the finals is on Sunday, with Game 3 on Wednesday, and Game 4 on Friday. If needed Game 5 is on June 13, Game 6 on June 16 and Game 7 on June 19.
MotoGP The seventh round of the MotoGP season, the Catalan Grand Prix, takes place in Barcelona on Sunday. Championship leader and world champion Jorge Lorenzo will be out to extend his 10-point lead at the top, and will be confident of doing so having won there four times in the past six years.
Euro 2016 The hype finally comes to an end as the European Championship starts, with the largest field for the finals, with 24 sides taking part. Tournament hosts France kick things off against Romania in Saint-Denis on Friday, with the French having never lost at a major tournament match played on their soil.
Canadian Grand Prix Track action in Montreal begins on Friday at the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve ahead of the race on June 12, with Lewis Hamilton aiming to win the race for a fifth time in his career as he seeks to close the 24-point gap to Mercedes-GP teammate Nico Rosberg in the championship standings.

Types of fraud
Phishing: Fraudsters send an unsolicited email that appears to be from a financial institution or online retailer. The hoax email requests that you provide sensitive information, often by clicking on to a link leading to a fake website.
Smishing: The SMS equivalent of phishing. Fraudsters falsify the telephone number through “text spoofing,” so that it appears to be a genuine text from the bank.
Vishing: The telephone equivalent of phishing and smishing. Fraudsters may pose as bank staff, police or government officials. They may persuade the consumer to transfer money or divulge personal information.
SIM swap: Fraudsters duplicate the SIM of your mobile number without your knowledge or authorisation, allowing them to conduct financial transactions with your bank.
Identity theft: Someone illegally obtains your confidential information, through various ways, such as theft of your wallet, bank and utility bill statements, computer intrusion and social networks.
Prize scams: Fraudsters claiming to be authorised representatives from well-known organisations (such as Etisalat, du, Dubai Shopping Festival, Expo2020, Lulu Hypermarket etc) contact victims to tell them they have won a cash prize and request them to share confidential banking details to transfer the prize money.
