The sporting week in pictures, as the coronavirus makes its presence felt

This was the week where the sports calendar really started to feel the affects of the coronavirus pandemic.

Numerous international tournaments across the world were either played behind closed doors or called-off completely.

In European football, the Champions League saw two last-16 second legs played in eerie silence as supporters were prevented from watching their teams in the flesh.

On Tuesday, Atalanta secured their quarter-final spot after beating Valencia 4-3 on the night, 8-4 on aggregate, in front of an empty Mestalla stadium in Spain.

A day later, A Neymar inspired Paris Saint-Germain defeated Borussia Dortmund 2-0 and sealed their place in the quarter-finals, winning 3-2 over aggregate.
