The Emirati is 17 points off top spot with only three events to go. He said: “I need to score points for first or second.” Today’s opening day consists of seven stages following the opening ceremont last night.
Action begins at Dubai Autodrome
There is a busy timetable of racing on the first UAE National race day of the season at Dubai Autodrome on Friday.
The UAE Sportscars, UAE Sportsbikes and UAE Touring Cars race series’s will all be having two races apiece in today’s schedule as their respective championships start. Practice begins at 9am with the first of the six planned races due to start at 1pm.
