New Zealand will not sit back in World Cup

Ricki Herbert, the New Zealand coach, has promised his minnows would be "bold" and not play for draws at the World Cup in South Africa. Herbert acknowledged his side would be underdogs in a group that includes Slovakia, Paraguay and Italy, the holders, but said: "We won't be a team that sits back. Not with the attacking players we've got."
