It’s not too late to get on a yacht to watch the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix or party into the wee hours this weekend. We’ve got the lowdown on three boats – but you’ll have to act fast.
The Elite Yacht
This party boat has a track view of three corners and offers daytime and evening party options. The daytime party passes from noon to 10pm each day include Yas Marina access, food catered by the Ritz-Carlton, unlimited beverages, big-screen televisions, DJs, general admission to the evening concert and a Rush club VIP three-day pass. Packages are Dh1,950 for Friday, Dh2,950 for Saturday and Dh3,950 for Sunday. Evening party options offer yacht access from 10pm to 3am, including a ticket to the after-race concert, with unlimited beverages and pizza. Packages start at Dh700. One o One
This luxury triple-decker yacht is docked in berth 69 with trackside views. The party, organised by Walidia Yachts, includes a DJ, a gourmet chef and unlimited beverages. Bookings are accepted for groups of 10 or more (though some single tickets may be available). The packages also include after-race concert tickets each day. Prices per person are Dh950 for Thursday, Dh2,500 for Friday and Dh3,500 for Saturday. Sunday is sold out. From 4pm to midnight on Thursday and noon to midnight on Friday and Saturday. The Traumtanzer
One of the 30 spots on the Traumtanzer (which means "dream dancer" in German) scores you food catered by Leopold's of London and Smoking Doll, unlimited beverages, a Yas Marina pass, a DJ, live music and a ticket to that evening's concert. Tickets for Friday and Saturday are Dh2,000, rising to Dh3,000 for Sunday. Or buy a weekend pass for Dh4,000. Yacht access is from noon to midnight each day.
