Keeping Ajman in their place has proved a difficult task for many of the top flight's prominent sides. Al Ain see what the new boys are about tonight when the league leaders play host to the men in orange.

Al Ain remain unbeaten in the league, but their past two matches produced a 1-1 deadlock with Al Shabab and a 1-0 President's Cup loss at the hands of Baniyas.

Asamoah Gyan, the Ghana international, is the league's leading scorer, but he did not play in either match and will be unavailable for several more weeks as he attends to duty in the African Cup of Nations. Igancio Scocco has become the most prominent figure in the Al Ain attack, but a return tonight of the injury-prone Saudi international forward Yasser Al Qahtani would be timely.

Ajman are a well-crafted side dedicated to not giving anyone room to play and depend on the Senegalese Ibrahima Toure, the Lebanese Hassan Maatouk and the Algerian Karim Kerkar to produce goals. Ajman lost 6-2 to Al Jazira in a President's Cup match this week, but it might have been Jazira's best game of the season.
