Joe Jordan urged Tottenham Hotspur to take full advantage of faltering Chelsea tomorrow and put themselves in the thick of the Premier League title hunt.
Chelsea travel to White Hart Lane having not won a league game since the 1-0 victory against Fulham in mid-October. Jordan, the assistant Spurs coach, wants his players to get maximum points to put them within three points of league-leaders Arsenal.
"Chelsea have stuttered and they've let the other teams in," Jordan said. "Not only that, but they've let the other teams in, I think, in believing that there is an opening this season for not just Manchester United and Chelsea to repeat what they have been doing, but other clubs. You look at the top teams and you think, 'This is a chance.'"
Frank Lampard, the Chelsea midfielder, who has resumed training following three months out following hernia surgery, is ruled out because he lacks match fitness.
