Europe lead the United States 10-6 after the first two days of action, and only need 4.5 points from the 12 singles matches to regain the Ryder Cup.
Jim Furyk's US team need to win eight of the 12 match-ups to retain the Ryder Cup, and 8.5 points to win the match. A 14-14 draw would be enough for them to return to the United States with the trophy thanks to being the champions going into the tournament.

The last time the match ended in a draw was in 1989.
Only twice in the tournament's history has a team come back from four points down on the final day to win.
The US did it in 1999 at Brookline, with the catalyst for the success being Ben Crenshaw's men winning seven of the first eight singles matches as they turned a 10-6 deficit into a 14.5-13.5 win.
Europe did it in 2012 at Medinah, the key again being a strong start as they won the first five singles to win 14.5-13.5.
