Tommy Fleetwood is featured on the front page of The National Sport on Monday, January 23 after winning the Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship title on Sunday, as reported by John McAuley.

Englishman Fleetwood fought off challenges from world No 3 Dustin Johnson of the United States and Spaniard Pablo Larrazabal for his only second European Tour victory.

Pre-tournament favourites other than Johnson – Henrik Stenson and defending champion Rickie Fowler – finished tied for eighth and 36th, respectively. Both players, however, were happy with their respective starts to their 2017 campaigns, according to a report from Paul Radley.
