Rangers captain Lee Wallace believes Joey Barton and Niko Kranjcar have added as much off the park as on it during their first few weeks at Ibrox.
The midfielders have the highest profiles of Mark Warburton’s nine summer signings but Wallace revealed they had fully immersed themselves within the squad.
Promoting the start of the Scottish Premiership season, which begins when Hamilton visit Ibrox on Saturday, Wallace told Sky Sports News HQ: “They have added an enormous amount both on and off the pitch.
“There’s undoubted quality on the football pitch but more with how they are interacting off the pitch, how they are dealing with the guys, how they are getting used to how we work.
“The contributions they are making in analysis and on the training pitch are second to none. So that’s both on and off the pitch they are certainly going to help us improve and get us where we want to be.
“They are fantastic additions along with the rest of the guys who came into the squad. We are in really good shape just now.”
