Jenson Button takes The National Sport front page on Friday, November 25 after he announced the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix will likely be his last race in Formula One.

It was announced in Septmeber that Button would be taking a one year sabbatical from racing, although he has a contract in place to return in 2018.

However, during the drivers’ press conference on Thursday, the 2009 world champion said we was treating Sunday’s race as his last.

“At this moment in time I don’t want to be racing in Formula One past this race, that’s the whole idea,” he said.

“I think of this as my last race, and hopefully everybody else does as well.”

The National's Graham Caygill was present to document Button's announcement.
