Thomas Tuchel watches Chelsea stars warm up for FA Cup clash with a game of handball - in pictures

As well-travelled as Thomas Tuchel is, it will be the Chelsea manager's first trip to Oakwell when his side take on Barnsley in the FA Cup fifth round on Thursday.

The former Borussia Dortmund and Paris Saint-Germain coach has impressed in his first few games in charge, with the Blues undefeated through four matches, with three victories, and now just a point behind fourth-placed Liverpool in the Premier League.

The German watched his players, including Olivier Giroud, Hakim Ziyech and Cesar Azpilicueta, warm up for the match with a game of handball at the Chelsea training ground.

The FA Cup, though, cares little for reputation. Barnsley manager Valerien Ismael will have his team more than ready to rise to the occasion at Oakwell, where the last Championship match against Derby was postponed because of a waterlogged pitch.
