The new Premier League season begins on August 9 and there are plenty of fascinating narratives

Manchester City are looking to become only the second side, after Manchester United, to win three successive titles in the Premier League era.

They were pushed close by Liverpool in 2018/19 and Jurgen Klopp's men will now bid to go one better and end a 30-year title drought for the Anfield club.

Tottenham Hotspur, Chelsea, Manchester United and Arsenal are expected to be best of the rest, although Leicester City and Everton will have hope of breaking into the top six.

Norwich City, Sheffield United and Aston Villa are the promoted sides looking to establish themselves.
