Manchester United trained on Wednesday ahead of their crucial Europa League last-32 second-leg match against Club Brugge.

United drew the first leg 1-1 and will hold the upper hand going into the second leg with Club Brugge confirming that Emmanuel Dennis will not play on Thursday.

Dennis was the one who scored for Brugge before Anthony Martial equalised for United. The Red Devils will be upbeat at Old Trafford, especially after their 3-0 league win over Watford.

Manchester United and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer need all the good news they can get after their financial results were released.
United's revenue for the three months to December 31 fell nearly 20 percent due to a £39 million (Dh185m) drop in broadcast income. Solskjaer's side are up to fifth in the league table, which could be enough to qualify for the Champions League, and bring in greater broadcast revenue.

However, Manchester United executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward said the foundations are in place for long-term success with Solskjaer.

"We are pushing for a strong finish in the Premier League, the Europa League and the FA Cup as we enter the final third of the season," said Woodward.

"The foundation for delivering the long-term success that we are all working towards is in place as we implement our plan and our footballing vision with Ole."

The one player who should fill United with some confidence is Bruno Fernandes. The Portugal international scored his first United goal during the 3-0 win over Watford.
